It converts the English text you provide into playable speech so you can practise listening, pronunciation, stress, rhythm, and connected sounds.
What voice does the studio use?
The studio uses ETK Voice in your browser. The Generate speech button shows download progress and becomes available when the voice is ready.
Can I change the speaking speed?
Yes. Move the speaking-speed control between the available slower and faster settings before generating the audio.
How do I download the audio?
Enter text, set the speaking speed, select Generate speech, then use Download in the Listen and download section.
Is the generated audio permanent?
No. The generated audio is temporary and is cleared when you change the text or speed settings, or leave the page. Download it if you want to keep a copy.
How much text can I generate?
You can generate up to 2,000 characters at a time. Short passages are easier to replay and study in focused sections.
