Frequently asked questions

Select a question to expand
What can Text Coach help me do?
It offers four focused modes: improve wording, paraphrase a passage, explain difficult language, or summarize the main ideas while keeping the source text in context.
How much source text should I provide?
Provide the complete passage or sentence needed for the task. Each mode has its own minimum and maximum limits, which the workspace shows as you type.
How should I use the coached result?
Compare it with your source, check that the meaning and tone are still right, and edit the result to fit your purpose. Do not accept every suggestion automatically.
Does Text Coach grade my English?
No. Text Coach gives language support and learning notes; it does not provide an official CEFR, IELTS, TOEFL, or other exam score.
Why did my previous result disappear?
A result is cleared when you change the source text or switch modes, so the displayed feedback always belongs to the text currently in the editor.
What should I avoid entering?
Do not enter passwords, payment information, or sensitive personal data. Use the tool for learning text that you are comfortable submitting for this request.
