Select a question to expand
What does Pronunciation Coach assess?
It compares your short spoken attempt with the target text and returns pronunciation feedback such as detected speech, IPA, and sound-level details.
How long can a recording be?
The tool is designed for short practice attempts. The current recording limit is shown in the workspace before you record.
What browser permissions are needed?
Use HTTPS and allow microphone access. If the browser does not support recording or the microphone is unavailable, the workspace explains what needs attention.
How should I use the pronunciation feedback?
Treat each result as a practice clue. Repeat the target, focus on the sounds marked for attention, and record another attempt to compare your progress.
Is the result an official exam score?
No. Pronunciation Coach provides automated learning feedback and is not an official IELTS, TOEFL, CEFR, or other examination score.
What happens to my recording?
The short recording is sent to the pronunciation assessment service to produce the requested feedback. Avoid recording sensitive personal information.
